I cannot say that I've tested all of the features, my dive computer does not have Bluetooth built in, so I don't have a means to test the direct import of the dive profile. Multiple photos can be linked into a single dive. Furthermore, you can bring in pictures seamlessly from photos or iPhoto. It's his crate application that allows you to track everything you would want to track in your scuba dive log book. I have been using the desktop version of MacDive for a couple of years. Overall, I have played around with the app for a couple of hours, had no crashes, I see no discrepancies no hangs. The app even allows you to link to your iOS contacts app to add buddies. You also have the ability on the fly to add a photograph taken with the iOS devices on camera directly to a dive. Previously I had to take my Garman on the dive boat, Mark the site and at a later time after I got home I would manually put it into Mac dive. That said, the iOS app is very easy to use, all of the information that you need is there, and the really great thing is now you can add new dive sites right in your iOS app, using the GPS location of the phone itself while you are on the dive boat to mark the location. Drag and drop supported files in to MacDive Documents. Scroll down to File Sharing Select MacDive in the list of applications. Select Apps in the iTunes device sidebar. Although the process took quite a bit of time, I think that is because I had over 250 photographs that were linked in to different dives. You can copy supported files directly to MacDive through iTunes File Sharing. ZXU files to the Export/ZXU directory if I export as text I get no file at all in any directory. If I export as DL7 I get some (but not all?). I'm using ACI v.2.4.0 Build 8-26-14 and I've tried it on Windows 7 and Windows 10. Subsurface can also read the XML files that can be exported by: Divinglog JDivelog MacDive. It looks like this was a known bug they allegedly fixed several releases ago but I've still got it. Importing from a dive computer is the easiest way to add dives. However, I can't get ACI to create the text file. I would like to start my data import with my old files from "Aeris Computer Interface" or ACI. After years of collecting data from my computers on various pieces of software I FINALLY decided to organize it all online and I think MacDive is the best program - I bought it last night. ![]()
